Controla los tiempos de respuesta de tu servidor – OctaGate SiteMeter

OctaGate SiteMeter es un interesante servicio en Ajax para monitorear los tiempos de respuesta de una página web.

Las mediciones de los tiempos de respuesta se realizan desde un servidor en Suecia. Cuando el usuario ingresa la URL y hace clic en ‘Start’ se genera un proceso en el mencionado servidor que hace las mediciones.

Estas mediciones son recogidas por el cliente en forma de gráficos que muestran los tiempos de respuesta para la conexión con el servidor, el tiempo para el request de los datos y el tiempo que dura la transmisión de todos los datos de una página.

Instalar Freeswitch en Centos 5.2

En este articulo veremos como instalar Freeswitch en Centos 5.2 Podemos descargar las ultimas fuentes disponibles con el programa subversión o descargar el paquete comprimido de la versión 1.0.1 (la ultima disponible a la fecha).
Para la primera opción tenemos que tener instalada la utilidad subversión.

yum install subversion

luego posicionarnos en la carpeta src

cd /usr/src

y digitar el comando:

svn checkout http://svn.freeswitch.org/svn/freeswitch/trunk freeswitch

Para descargar el paquete comprimido de las fuentes:

wget http://files.freeswitch.org/freeswitch-1.0.1.tar.gz

lo descomprimimos

tar -xf freeswitch-1.0.1.tar.gz

Seguimos con la instalación de algunos programas necesarios para la compilación de freeswitch.

yum install make autoconf automake

yum install libtool-ltdl libtool-ltdl-devel libtool

yum install ncurses ncurses-devel gcc gcc-c++

yum install libxml2 libxml2-devel libtiff libtiff-devel
